Late Summer Herb Walk + Medicine Making at Fernwood Botanical Gardens
Join us for a very special herb walk and medicine making experience at Fernwood Botanical Garden! We’ll be exploring a range of wild and cultivated herbs at their incredible herb garden and grounds.
In this experience , you will learn about plants that are growing during this season, how to identify them, the medicine they offer, how to extract and work with their medicine, as well as how to best care for our environment and maintain a mindful foraging practice.

What to expect:
Learn to identify 7-10 medicinal plants
Basic information about beginning steps of foraging, safety and environmental considerations
Learn to make three sample sized remedies with what we foraged, including supplies and instructions
Things to bring:
Comfortable, preferably closed toe shoes for hiking around varied terrain
Water
Notepad or some way to take notes
